The government of British Columbia is implementing its new short-term rental registry this year. All hosts operating short term rental properties that are separate from their principal residence will be required to register.

Another fall storm is forecast to impact Vancouver Island and the B.C. south coast on Friday. An area of low pressure will deepen off the Washington coast tonight. This low is forecast to move northwards and approach Vancouver Island on Friday.
