We are over the moon to announce the arrival of our sweet granddaughter, Claudia Rosemarie, born at 8am on Nov. 1st.

Proud doesn’t begin to describe how we feel watching Lexi and Jason become such wonderful new parents. 💗

Last weekend, we spent the day visiting a couple of local pumpkin patches with the whole family. It was the perfect fall outing with crisp air, colourful leaves, and plenty of pumpkins to choose from.

Everyone had a great time wandering through the fields and picking out their favourites. We even brought a few home to carve, and can’t wait to turn them into jack-o’-lanterns as Halloween gets closer!

There’s just something about a pumpkin patch that makes autumn feel complete: cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and time spent together. 

On the holiday Monday, we spent the day with Lexi, Rhea, and our two grandsons exploring the Saanich Fair.

We checked out the animals, wandered the market, hit up the kid zone, played bingo (and won! ), and, of course, enjoyed some tasty carnival food.

Such a hoot of a day!

We’re so excited — this weekend we celebrated our oldest daughter, Lexi, and her partner, Jason, as they get ready to welcome their first baby!

With their little girl due November 1st, we gathered for a beautiful baby shower filled with love, laughter, and so many wonderful people showing up to shower them with support.

Lexi and Jason are absolutely glowing, and we couldn’t be happier for them. We’re all over the moon and counting down the days until we meet this sweet new addition to the family!
