A Victoria Institution’s 40th birthday!

Last week we celebrated John's Place's 40th birthday by heading down for our weekly team meeting over breakfast.

This fantastic Victoria institution did a very cool thing to celebrate their 40th year. They served breakfast at 1980s prices ($5 pancakes, $7 eggs bennies!) and they brought key staff back from over the years to join the current team through this celebratory week.

We have many fond memories of eating at John's Place from when the girls were kids and it was so nostalgic to go back there for breakfast and celebrate this milestone with the restaurant.

If, like us, it has been a while since you dined at John's Place (or if you haven't ever been), we recommend checking it out. It is still a great place to eat!
