Our Team Christmas Dinner
On Dec. 10th we took our Homeward Bound team to the Q at the Empress for a mouth watering Christmas dinner to celebrate all the great work everyone has done this year. We are so grateful to have such a powerhouse of a team and so thankful for all the amazing clients we have been fortunate enough to work with over this past year.

Feeling very excited and ready for 2022!

We will brave the cold so others may find warmth!
YOU DID IT!!!

You, our AMAZING friends, clients, and supporters, have FAR surpassed that $700 we had left to raise our year end goal of raising $5000 for the Royal Lepage Shelter Foundation! This Foundation helps women and children locally to escape abusive environments and find safety and security. And now we are going to brave the cold to help others find warmth...

We are so thrilled, but also extremely terrified! We promised you that we will do a polar bear swim at WIllow's Beach on January 1st if we reach this goal and we are now there. We ARE GOING to jump into the ocean in the dead of winter... oh my goodness!!!

It's not over yet though... we promised an extra head dunk for every $100 over our $5000 goal. So far we are at $5135, so already one head dunk over.
We are curious (and a little frightened) to see how many more head dunks we can get.

If you haven't yet and would like to contribute to this excellent cause (and terrifying thing we have to do) please, go to our donation page: hbtfundraiser.ca

YAY and EEEK!!!!

Holiday letters are all sent!
The completion of our holiday mail out to you: our friends, clients, and supporters, really marks the beginning of this special season for us.
Looking at this beautiful plethora of letters reminds us of how blessed we are for all the wonderful people in our lives.

Big thanks to our AMAZING assistant Wendy for all your work in getting this done this year.

Is there any particular event that gets you into the holiday spirit each year?

Back in person with the WWBN
Rosemarie is so happy!

She attended the first in person WWBN (Westshore Women's Business Network) event in two years. It was fantastic! There were about 20 women (all double vaxed) that attended, some old faces, some new. This event felt so personal- everyone had ample opportunity to talk about their businesses, how these challenging last two years have gone for them, and to share ideas with fellow businesswomen.

Rosemarie (and her daughter, Lexi, who also attended) are feeling amped and excited for the next meeting.

Thank you so much, Deb for putting this event together. You did such a fabulous job, as always!

Our marketing coordinator (and daughter), Nicolia, is currently working remotely from Edmonton. She was super excited to be there for this year's first snowfall! Even more excited, though, is little Zucchini, who had never seen snow before.

Home at last, dear clients!

Our clients finally moved into their new home this weekend and we are just so happy for them!

We are so pleased that we were able to help them successfully sell their past house and find this beautiful new place to call home. It has been quite the adventure and we are just so stoked that it has come to a super happy ending!

Cheers to the next adventure, you two!

We had such a lovely Halloween! Our daughter, Nicolia, gave us pumpkins that she collected from Michell's Farm Pumpkin patch and yesterday, before the trick or treaters started arriving, we carved them. It was the first time in several decades that either of us has carved a pumpkin, but we think we made it work Tongue Out We then gave out candy to the adorable kiddies that came to our house and watched a scary movie. What a perfect Haloween!

So much fun! Last week Royal LePage hosted an axe throwing activity to help us get out and mingle! We highly recommend checking out the Axe n' Grind if you want to try a fun activity that'll make you feel like a tough lumberjack!
Big thanks to Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty Victoria!
Photos: 1. What a great turn out of realtors and their staff. 2. Don't mess with this real estate dream team! (don't worry, we took off our masks only for the photo). 3. Our rock star assistant, Wendy, was a bullseye wizard.

It's Friday evening and it's looking to be a pretty soggy weekend. That doesn't mean it can't be a fun one, though! We believe one of the reasons our family is so close is because we spent hours playing games together as our girls were growing.

Rosemarie's current favourite boardgame right now is Wingspan. This is a brilliantly designed game that is peaceful, interesting, and very beautiful to look at. We recommend it for anyone looking for a new game to try out this fall.

What board games do you recommend trying? We are always looking for suggestions!
