Thanksgiving is this weekend and we have so much to be thankful for.

Tom and I have been building a great business and we just love our work. We have an incredible assistant, Charlotte, who does so much behind the scenes. We have 3 beautiful daughters and we are in good health.  We live in one of the best cities in one of the best countries in the world. We have wonderful friends and really the list can go on!

Along with giving thanks, we feel that Thanksgiving includes an action component… the actual GIVING of thanks. It’s not simply the experience of being thankful that makes the holiday meaningful. Actually gathering together to share a meal, the act of cooking, of doing something together, is a large component of the holiday.

Like thankfulness, good intentions require action to give them meaning. We are thankful to be part of a group of colleagues who do put good intentions into action, the 100+ REALTORS who Care.  We’re a group of Victoria agents who meet quarterly to give back to the community. We first met in June and gave to the Laren Society,  and then met again in September and gave to Artemis Place.

The more Tom and I put good intentions into action, the more we will have to be thankful for.
