Our first ever Homeward Bound Team Business mixer took place on June 12th and everyone attending clearly enjoyed themselves!

 

 

You see in the picture that our setting, the Glo Restaurant at 2940 Jutland Ave., right along the beautiful Gorge Waterway, was ideal. 

 

Some in the group arrived thinking (& worrying) that this 'Mixer' was going to feature a large group with many people milling around holding quick fire 'networking' conversations. In fact this was more a 'Business Social' where we had lots of time to sit and relax and get to know each other as we shared stories about ourselves and our various businesses. 

 

Our perfect group, as they appear from left to right, were; Tom, Darrin Bridge, Morrie Baillie, Gord Hunt, Olli & Greg Hawes, Charles Rose, Rosemarie, and Martin Hubbard. We are deeply grateful to these wonderful people who all contributed to a perfect launch of this event.

 

We are also very grateful to the owners of Glo, Paul & Lyndie Simpson, who provided us with the beautiful setting and delicious food!
