Oak Bay Lawn Bowing Club’s 70th Anniversary Launch Event!

On Saturday, Rosemarie attended the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club's summer launch and 70th anniversary event!

It was a wonderful time, with guest appearance from Laurel Collins, Victoria MP, and Hazel Braithwaite, Oak Bay councilor, delicious cake, lovely mingling, and, of course, lawn bowling.

Rosemarie has been bowling with this club for a few years now and loves spending time with great folks and honing her skills.

Welcome Spring 2024
Astronomically speaking, the Earth's equator is aligned directly with the Sun on the vernal equinox, which will occur today at 8:06 pm PST.

Therefore, today is officially the first day of spring! Yay!

It has already started to feel like spring at our house, however, as our beautiful camellia tree is in full bloom (as seen in the photo)!
